A Government Department solicited bids for an Agile Project Manager to oversee the development and implementation of a major Dynamics project. i4C won the bid and provided a consultant with a focus on delivering professional services through an agile methodology.
Key Responsibilities
The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

Technical Leadership and Oversight:
- Provide technical design leadership to the EIM Infrastructure & Platform Design team.
- Ensure physical designs meet strict fault-tolerant, scalable guidelines.

Team Guidance:
- Mentor delivery teams, guiding them through the implementation of best practices and standards.

Innovation and Design:
- Lead and actively participate in Proof of Concept (POC) and design sessions.
- Develop detailed guidelines and templates for junior engineers.

Hadoop Platform Development:
- Contribute to the technical design and capability roadmap of the Hadoop platform.
- Document interdependencies to facilitate seamless and expedient platform usage.

Business Requirement Analysis:
- Analyze business requirements and recommend optimal solutions aligned with the technology architecture.

System Configuration and Documentation:
- Develop and document system and infrastructure configurations using the SDLC methodology.

System Implementation and Support:
- Prepare system implementation plans and support procedures.
- Provide ongoing system automation management support to Information Excellence teams and business partners.

Risk Assessment and Management:
- Conduct regular infrastructure risk assessments and proactively address risks.

Platform Performance Optimization:
- Ensure platform performance meets various delivery teams’ non-functional requirements.
- Provide recommendations for performance tuning.

Interpersonal Skills:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, energy, and results-driven execution with excellence.
